Bio
I started programming in middle school and never really stopped. That turned into a B.S. in computer science and math, with a physics minor, from Eckerd College, and later a Ph.D. in mathematics — specializing in analytic number theory — from Louisiana State University, where I also taught, worked in the university's IT department, and helped run the math capstone course that taught undergrad seniors to build real, working software.
After grad school I ran a startup in the Rio Grande Valley building iOS apps, Android apps, and websites from scratch, then moved to Austin and spent eight years at Indeed — first as a software developer, then as a product manager.
Today I run Frnka Enterprises LLC, a one-person software studio building apps, games, and analytical tools using modern, AI-assisted development. You can read more about the approach and the background in Old-School Chops, New-School AI.
